Story
This painting captures a view I see every day from my home—yet it never loses its impact. The mountains of Karren, Staufen, and Breitenberg rise over Dornbirn, with this scene focusing on the left side of Breitenberg. Storms here can be especially intense, particularly thunderstorms that build over Switzerland before sweeping in, colliding with the mountains, and unleashing their full force.
